Immediately after treatment, there may be slight redness and swelling in the treatment area. This is a temporary condition that usually disappears within a day or two, up to a week.
48 hours after the procedure, the material is freely movable and therefore it is not advisable to engage in mimicry in the treated area and it is also not advisable to touch the area. If the swelling and redness does not go away, do not expose the treated area to intense heat (e.g. solarium, sunbathing, sauna) or intense cold.
The procedure is not suitable for patients with acute disease, active inflammation, patients with severe autoimmune diseases, unbalanced diabetes, patients with poor blood clotting, active herpes, and pregnant and lactating women.
