Commonly used drapes do not adhere to the face in an airtight manner, so high CO2 concentrations are not generated in the area covered by the drape, which could have a negative impact on health. Damaged, dirty or wet drapes should be replaced with new ones and disposable ones should only be used once.
Wearing a veil will certainly not suffocate us, but it can bother our sensitive skin. All you have to do is sweat and acne or rashes are the order of the day. Of course, you can prevent this by taking care of your skin regularly and intensively, even in times without a tan.
For ladies we recommend to skip make-up, concealers, BB creams, blushes, powders... The skin will be immeasurably relieved. Rather, when applying make-up, concentrate on the eye area, which the drape makes stand out. In this area, we can also use decorative cosmetics. Remember to clean your hands thoroughly whenever you touch your skin. Do not touch the outer surface of the drape when folding the drape off the face, or the drape in general. If you use brushes, sponges, or other tools in your makeup application, they need to be cleaned on a regular basis.
Creams and cleaning
The skin should be cleansed at least twice a day with cleansing gel, foam or milk, depending on preference. We should also not forget about toning, which is very important for the cleansing phase. Use moisturizing serums (e.g. with hyaluronic acid) and products containing vitamins E, B5 (panthenol), B3 (niacinamide). For acne-prone skin, we also recommend using creams with anti-inflammatory effects. Reach for non-comedogenic creams with a soft texture, which do not clog pores and will not weigh the skin down. Gel creams or light skin serums are also excellent. Care containing antioxidants will protect you from negative external influences. Be sure to avoid thick nourishing creams, petroleum jelly, overly oily products.
Our employees wear a wrap all day long and therefore most of them indulge in more frequent nourishing and moisturizing treatments. Among the most popular are hydrafacials, soothing masks, and LED therapy. Also very suitable are laser procedures that are also 100% safe, as they are non-contact, such as the carbon peel and Q-switched laser, which we recommend especially for the diagnosis and treatment of acne.
Masks
When it comes to masks, reach mainly for sheet masks and hydrogel masks to refresh and soothe your skin in the morning and evening. You can make applying a mask and other simple beauty treatments a beautiful ritual if you have a daughter. Rest assured that this moment dedicated to just the two of you will be priceless. Keep in mind that all creams should always be applied at least 15 minutes before putting on the drape to allow the cream to be absorbed sufficiently. During the day, thermal waters or rose water are great for hydration. Drinking is also a key step in skin hydration, so don't underestimate it.
Care of the drape
The drape should be changed every 2 to 3 hours, precisely because its effectiveness decreases rapidly when it becomes sweaty. Unfortunately, this is often not possible. Try putting an unscented paper handkerchief under your drape to suck up the moisture and keep changing that.
The textile drape can be washed. Then it can be dried and ironed. Soaking in disinfectant solutions is not necessary and would unnecessarily create an odour burden for cancer patients, for example. It is not recommended to wash the drapes in laundry detergent.
We recommend to apply all the tips for both female and male skin. Of course with products suitable for men.
P.S.: be careful when exposing yourself to the sun, because you can end up like this 🙂
