Breast cancer is the third most common cancer!
Breast cancer also affects younger women, so prevention and breast self-examination are very important. It is not to be underestimated, the examination is simple and only needs to be done once every year or two. It depends on the age of the woman. Palpation is an examination by the hands of a gynecologist.
She first examines the breasts with her hands placed loosely against her body, then raises one and then the other hand above her head and carefully examines the whole breast area. He examines the breast in slow circular movements with gentle pressure. He investigates with the bellies of the middle three fingers. He examines the breast from the periphery, i.e. from its surroundings, towards the nipple. The basic idea is to go over the whole breast in this way, trying to detect any resistance (lump).
At the end, he will also gently examine the nipple area of the breast itself. After the examination of the breast, it continues with an examination of the armpit.
