Hydrocele surgery
The course of performance:
- 1The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia or general anaesthesia, during the procedure the surgeon not only removes the accumulated fluid but also takes measures to prevent further formation of excess fluid in the testicular lining by plastic treatment. During the operation, a small incision is made in the skin of the scrotum. After the operation, the scrotum is fixed with a patch or suspensor. removes excess tissue by incision, sutures the wound and sterilely treats it.
- 2After the operation, the patient goes home for care.
- 3After returning from surgery, it is advisable to cool the scrotum through the suspensor on the same day by attaching a cooling bag with gel or ice for 2-3 hours. In the immediate postoperative period, we recommend a quiet regime, avoiding lifting heavy objects, wearing a suspensor and tight underwear, strict adherence to hygiene recommendations, and sexual abstinence. Stitches should fall out spontaneously after 10-20 days at the longest. If this does not happen, the doctor will remove them from the patient at the next check-up.
