Minimally invasive breast augmentation is a novelty in Slovakia. It differs from the classical surgery in the way of inserting the breast implant, through a special "funnel", called a "breast implant funnel". Insertion Sleeve. This makes the procedure safer for the woman and brings additional benefits. We will introduce you to 3 of them:
Miniature scar
A classic breast augmentation is performed through a five to six centimeter incision. In the minimally invasive method, the largest incision is three and a half centimetres. "So the advantage is a much smaller scar, as we use a sterile funnel-shaped bag, called a 'scar bag'. Insertion Sleeve, through which the implant is pushed into the breast through the support groove. With 300 ml implants, the incision is two and a half centimetres, with 500 ml implants three and a half centimetres," says our expert MUDr. Martin Dziuban.
Minimal risk of infection
The bag, resp. the funnel through which the implant is pushed into the breast is sterile and there is no contact between the implant itself and the skin. This reduces the risk of developing an infection to a minimum. "Even a small inflammatory reaction around the implant can provoke capsular contracture. This method prevents its occurrence. It is a very safe technique," adds MUDr. Martin Dziuban.
Faster recovery
With minimally invasive augmentation, wounds heal faster and better also because they are not scabbed over from implant placement. The patient can return to work in just a few days. Other postoperative instructions are the same. A regimen without physical exertion, wearing a compression bra and check-ups with a doctor are observed. Then you can just enjoy your beautiful new breasts.
